Having been in the turbocharger business for over 30 years, we are proud to be able to say that there is not much we can’t do or supply or know the answer to! This is the reason many tuning companies, race and rally teams and the car enthusiast from around the world come to us.

We can easily supply either a turbo straight off the shelf or modify it with one or more of our many proven upgrades machined in-house, to enhance performance, for race series suitability or simply for big power, we can even put your name on it if you want! These special turbos are called Owens Larger Chargers!

As proof of our credibility in the turbo business, we were soley appointed by Garrett, the biggest turbocharger manufacturer in the world, as their Performance Centre for the UK, Europe, South Africa and the Middle East in 2004 and since then, have won two very coveted awards by Garrett for Performance Services, of which we are extremely proud.

Garrett Competition Turbochargers

Owen Developments have been appointed as the only official Garrett Performance Centre in the UK. Having direct access to all technical data and drawings enables us to apply the GT range of duel ball bearing turbos with the ultimate in matching efficiency.

WRC Group A, Group N Rally Car Turbochargers

We have been re-building and blue-printing turbochargers for both road and competition cars since the mid-eighties. Since then, our experienced and competitive edge has meant that we have become the first port of call for both car manufacturers and race and rally teams worldwide.

Hybrid Special Turbochargers

We have designed and built our own hybrid turbo specifications for fast road turbocharged cars for many years and implement the same quality of work that goes into the Motorsport turbochargers - we even take some of the Motorsport technology and apply it to the fast road applications, as many people now like to uprate their engine specifications and therefore need to run an uprated turbo to compliment their engine to achieve more power and improved driveability.

Remanufactured Production Turbochargers

The total remanufacturing of turbochargers started in 1982 with a contract to supply the Mitsubishi Motor Company with factory approved turbochargers for their after sales operation. It was not long before Isuzu, Subaru, Daihatsu and Toyota followed suit.

Also catered for are volume supplies of OE parts to vehicle manufacturers and the aftermarket. All major makes of turbochargers are catered for from Japanese to American, including the Garrett Roller Bearing Turbos.

The remanufacturing of turbochargers to their original specification using genuine components is a major part of our business and one that is growing all the time as turbochargers are fitted to more and more standard road going cars and commercial vehicles especially with the boom in diesel vehicle sales.
