Since 1980, Owen Developments has been at the forefront of high performance turbo technology for both motorsport and fast road use. As the sole appointed Garrett performance turbocharger centre for the EU for Garrett GT turbos, we have exclusive access to the Garrett GT ball bearing performance turbocharger range and unique factory technical support.

Owen Developments worldwide motorsport customer base is supplied with specially prepared Group N, Group A, WRC and rallycross turbochargers, across Garrett, IHI and MHI brands. In recognition of the quality of its work in this sector, Owen Developments has also been awarded the coveted Prodrive approved supplier status.

Owen Developments also offers vast knowledge, technical skills, CNC machining and inspection facilities, plus a state of the art 4wd 1200bhp rolling road, manned by very experienced staff all in-house. Combined with the full support of Garrett USA, these factors allow Owen Developments to design and produce hybrid turbo upgrade solutions for today's popular performance cars, including the Subaru Impreza WRX/STi, the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution, the Sierra / Escort Cosworth and the Focus RS. In addition, Owen Developments supplies, installs and maps Motec ECU systems and Unichip piggy back ECU¡¯s and is delighted to act as retail sales agent for the American TiAL Sport range of waste gates and blow off valves.

Since the foundation of Owen Developments by Brian Owen in 1980, we have steadily built an unrivalled reputation in the automotive industry for innovative and bespoke engineering solutions, component design and superior R&D manufacturing capabilities. Initially, we were recognised for our expertise with turbochargers and whilst forever continuing to advance and push the boundaries of this field, we have also grown into the complex area of engine management systems, thereby tying together all the capabilities to develop the complete performance package.

To prove our ability and progress within the turbocharger sector, we have had close ties with Garrett Engine Boosting Systems for many years but the relationship was cemented at the beginning of 2004 when we were formally appointed as their only Performance Centre in the UK. This, along with our considerable experience in the supply and bespoke fitment of the leading makes of engine management systems, with specific emphasis on Motec and Unichip, we are unrivalled.

The service we offer to all our customers, irrespective of whether a large company or a private individual, is always personal and strictly confidential! If a customer is interested in replacing a standard turbocharger with a bespoke hybrid unit, our engineering team are always on hand to devise a solution. Using the latest CNC machines, our machine shop can tackle the most intricate of designs whilst maintaining the highest quality standard. With any engine alterations, we can also test or remap the vehicle engine for peak performance if required.

Using our on-site, state-of-the art four wheel drive rolling road which is monitored by computer using T.A.T software and adjustable for air-speed, our technicians can 'map' engine management systems for road, track and motorsport use.

We ensure we deliver the highest quality products that actually work! Of course, as the design and engineering is completed in-house, we are always able to test, modify and advise the customer of the best, safest and most cost-effective solution to their request.

To complete the picture, we have our own range of performance products that we are adding to all the time and can be seen on site shop. As dealers for such companies as Motec and Unichip through to Tial, PWR and SFS Hoses, we are able to advise and supply customers with the most suitable products for their own individual needs and applications.
