2009 Toyota Sprint series won with Owen's turbo
23 December 2009 We are delighted to confirm that the popular and competitive 2009 Toyota Sprint Series was won by Jonny Milner using an Owen Developments turbocharger.
Milner, who won five out of six rounds to take the overall crown, used a 2.2-litre 1994 Celica GT4 (ST205,) which ran an Owen Developments hybrid CT26 turbocharger, producing 450bhp at 1.4 bar of boost.
For 2010 the Duncan McMath entered car will be developed yet further, with a new Owen Developments turbocharger unit with the aim of defending the title in Turbo Dynamic’s supported series.
